What began at a young weaver's handloom is today a saree house — six yards of Andhra, Tamil and Kannada silk, gathered under one roof in Chintamani.
Kanchipuram
The queen of South Indian silks. Woven on the temple looms of Tamil Nadu using three shuttles, the body, border and pallu are interlocked by hand so a true Kanchi never comes apart. We choose only pieces marked with genuine zari.
Mysore & Bangalore
From Karnataka come the softest silks in the land — Mysore crepe, hard-spun and feather-light, and fine Bangalore silk with its quiet lustre. The everyday luxury of the South, in colours drawn from temple and garden.
Handloom & Cotton
Chettinad and Ikkat cottons for the warm months — breathable, brilliantly woven, dyed in earthen tones with bold contrast borders. Craft you can wear from morning pooja to evening visit.
One Roof, Three States
Founder A L Shivanna began as a young weaver, making sarees by hand to sell to other houses. Year by year he found the courage to open a store of his own — and to gather, under one roof, the finest weaves from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. That journey, from loom to counter, is the soul of this shop.
